In the Klamath Siskiyou eco-region of northern California and southern Oregon, designated as one of the most critical biodiversity hotspots in the world, we stopped a proposal to build a destination resort in the heart of the Kalmiopsis Wilderness Area; and we are pursuing a multi-pronged strategy to ensure the permanent protection of the Cascade Siskiyou National Monument and restore natural resources that have been damaged by cattle grazing, roads, and logging.
